Apps that let you use the basis of social networking but in responsible and useful ways.
1. Delicious Apps:http://delicious.com/ The Delicious apps are three apps that come in a package once you download them off Firefox. The first app takes you immediately to the Delicious page. This one is the one with thee Delicious symbol. The other app is the bookmark app. This app lets you go through your bookmarks and go to them. The final one is the tag app. The tag app let's you create a new bookmark immediately without having to go to Delicious. I use Delicious to bookmark my favourite websites and pages as well as find new ones. 2. Popscreenhttp://www.popscreen.com/ let's me bookmark videos for school projects as well as find new ones related to the projects. PopScreen is a web based app that allows you to bookmark your favourite videos. You can add videos recently by using the Pop It icon on your toolbar or you can import videos from sites like Youtube. You can only import them if you have an account. You can also watch episodes of your favourite shows either live or recorded. Finally it lets you create playlists to group different types of videos. This program is useful when trying to keep track of videos your using during a project or also as a means of sharing them with co workers on a project.
